Online Therapy for Anxiety, Burnout, and Life Transitions Across Virginia
CLEAR, STEADY SUPPORT DURING DEMANDING PHASES OF LIFE.
You Don’t Have to Keep Carrying This Alone
You may be managing work, school, or family responsibilities well on the outside while feeling stretched thin underneath. Many of the people we work with are capable and high-performing, accustomed to carrying responsibility and meeting expectations.
Over time, the pressure to perform, make sound decisions, and keep everything steady can build quietly. You do not have to be in crisis to begin therapy. Sometimes it is simply time to think more clearly about where you are and what comes next.
A Clearer Phase
When you have space to think clearly, this phase starts to shift. What once felt tangled becomes more manageable.

Focused Support for Life’s Phases
Therapy here is structured and intentional. We focus on helping you think clearly, understand what is driving the pressure, and make steady decisions about how you want to move forward.
-
Anxiety can show up as ongoing mental pressure, overthinking, difficulty sleeping, or feeling on edge even when life appears stable. Many of our clients are capable and dependable. They continue performing well while carrying internal tension.
We work to understand what is driving the anxiety, identify patterns that reinforce it, and develop steady, realistic ways to respond differently. The goal is greater clarity and regulation, not simply short-term relief.
-
Sustained pressure at work or in leadership roles can build gradually. You may still be meeting expectations while feeling mentally fatigued, irritable, or stretched thin.
Stress often reflects the demands of a particular season. Burnout develops when those demands remain high without recovery or recalibration.
In therapy, we examine pace, expectations, responsibility, and boundaries. Adjustments are made deliberately and sustainably so performance and wellbeing can coexist.
-
Career shifts, academic milestones, promotions, and identity changes can feel disorienting even when they are positive. Each phase of life builds upon the last.
Therapy provides space to think clearly about what this transition requires and how you want to move through it. The focus is on integration and forward movement rather than starting over.
-
Academic pressure, performance demands, and increasing independence can intensify anxiety and self-doubt. Many teens and young adults appear high functioning externally while navigating significant internal change.
We provide structured support that strengthens regulation, decision-making, and confidence during critical stages.
About Phases Virginia
Phases Virginia was founded by Brittany Belscher and Whitney Houston, Licensed Professional Counselors. They work with adults and teens across Virginia through online therapy, navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and meaningful life transitions.
We understand that many clients are capable and dependable, often carrying more than others realize. With backgrounds in community behavioral health and school-based counseling, we have supported adolescents, young adults, and adults through academic pressure, performance expectations, and changing roles.
Our approach is structured and intentional, but also collaborative. Sessions create space to slow things down, think clearly, and make thoughtful adjustments. The goal is steady growth that feels manageable and aligned with the phase you are in.
