Online Therapy for Anxiety and Trauma-Related Stress Across Virginia
CLEAR, STEADY SUPPORT DURING DEMANDING PHASES OF LIFE.
You Don’t Have to Keep Carrying This Alone
You may be managing work, school, or family responsibilities well on the outside while feeling stretched thin underneath. Many of the people we work with are capable and high-performing, accustomed to carrying responsibility and meeting expectations.
Over time, anxiety, trauma-related stress, and the pressure to perform can build quietly. You do not have to be in crisis to begin therapy. Sometimes it is simply time to think more clearly about where you are and what comes next.
A Clearer Phase
With steady support, anxiety and trauma-related stress become more manageable, and decisions about work, relationships, and the next phase of life feel more intentional.

Focused Support for Life’s Phases
Therapy here is structured and intentional. We focus on helping you think clearly, understand what is driving the pressure, and make steady decisions about how you want to move forward.
-
Anxiety can show up as constant mental pressure, overthinking, difficulty sleeping, or feeling on edge, even when things appear stable.
We help you understand what is driving it, identify patterns that keep it in place, and develop steady, realistic ways to respond differently.
-
Earlier experiences can continue to shape how someone responds to pressure, relationships, or uncertainty. Trauma may show up as heightened vigilance, avoidance, or a nervous system that remains on alert even when circumstances have changed.
Therapy focuses first on regulation and stability, then gradually works through patterns that keep the nervous system activated.
-
Sustained pressure at work, school, or in leadership roles can build gradually. Many capable and high-performing individuals continue meeting expectations while feeling mentally fatigued or stretched thin.
We examine pace, expectations, and boundaries so adjustments can be made deliberately and sustainably.
About Phases Virginia
Phases Virginia was founded by Brittany Belscher and Whitney Houston, Licensed Professional Counselors. They work with adults and teens across Virginia through online therapy, navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and meaningful life transitions.
We understand that many clients are capable and dependable, often carrying more than others realize. With backgrounds in community behavioral health and school-based counseling, we have supported adolescents, young adults, and adults through academic pressure, performance expectations, and changing roles.
Our approach is structured and intentional, but also collaborative. Sessions create space to slow things down, think clearly, and make thoughtful adjustments. The goal is steady growth that feels manageable and aligned with the phase you are in.
